We need your help! Every parent with a child attending Park Mead Primary automatically becomes a member of the PTFA and you are very welcome!

Without help we don't raise any money. Check out, Where does the money go? and see how your children are benefitting from the PTFA every year.

We raised an incredible £14,300 last year and with your help we can raise even more this year.

New fundraising ideas are always welcome, just drop us an e-mail

There are so many ways you can get involved with the school, whatever your circumstances, interests or skill-set.

Some examples of the more ad hoc things you can do:

-       Sell cake raffle tickets on a Friday morning before school

-       Help out packing up sweets for the tuck shop, or help out selling at the tuck shop

-       Man a stand at the Summer or Christmas Fair

-       Bake for a tuck shop

-       Sell refreshments at an event

-       Sell tickets to an event

If you think you can help then either contact one of our committee members or class links (names below) or sign up to PTAsocial and just simply tick the job(s) you feel able to help with. It couldn't be easier!

What does the PTFA do?

Every parent with a child attending Park Mead Primary automatically becomes a member of the PTFA.  Registered as a charity, the organisation is run by a committee of parents with the aim of raising funds for the school.  We run several events throughout the year, such as quiz nights, bingo nights, a scarecrow competition, Christmas and summer fairs, plus an ongoing cake raffle and half termly tuck shops. One of our biggest fund-raising events is the annual PTFA pantomime which is written, directed and performed by staff, parents and pupils, both past and present. All the children love watching it...oh yes they do!

Whether you can bake a cake, help run a stall, become a class rep or just want to come along and support our events you will always be very welcome.  Our aim is the same every year, which is to try and raise more money than the previous year!  We have a huge challenge, as we raised an incredible £14,300 last year and what makes it all so worthwhile is that all this money is put back into the school and directly benefits our children.
